The Letter to the Colossians is a book in the Bible written by the apostle Paul. He was writing to a group of Christians who lived in a place called Colossae (found in modern day Turkey). He wanted them to know some amazing truths about Jesus. Let’s discover them for ourselves!

The apostle Paul wrote a letter to the church in Colossae to counter the false teaching undermining their confidence in the Gospel. In his letter, Paul reminds them of some foundational truths about Jesus. Truths about Jesus that we need reminding of today.

The Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Rome that, “I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes...” (Romans 1:16) He wanted to share the Gospel with everyone that he could, including a church in Colossae that he had never visited.
