The apostle Paul wrote a letter to the church in Colossae to counter the false teaching undermining their confidence in the Gospel. In his letter, Paul reminds them of some foundational truths about Jesus. Truths about Jesus that we needed reminding of today.

The Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Rome that, “I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes...” (Romans 1:16) He wanted to share the Gospel with everyone that he could, including a church in Colossae that he had never visited.
