The Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Rome that, “I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes...” (Romans 1:16) He wanted to share the Gospel with everyone that he could, including a church in Colosse that he had never visited.

Why would Jesus, who knew beforehand all that would happen and who held the power of heaven at His command, submit to being humiliated, tortured, and ultimately killed?
